NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., Dec. 13, 2005 – First2Print, a leader in large-format fabric printing services, located in New York and Los Angeles, announced today that the company has installed DuPont™ Artistri™ digital printing for textiles.

For short-run production, First2Print plans to produce 50-500 yards of a specific design which is “washable, wearable, and ready for retail,” stated Danielle Locastro, director of operations for First2Print. During typical made-to-order services, First2Print works with its customers throughout the entire design process to engineer a final product assembled with textile. Final products might span the gamut of draperies, a restaurant booth, or apparel garments. “The addition of the Artistri™ system lets us become a delivery on demand service. We’ll be able to help our clients transform their designs almost instantly – unlike traditional mills which have a minimum yardage and long turnaround times,” Breslau added.
